The admission requirement for most study programs at the University of Iceland at the graduate level is to have finished a bachelor's degree with a first-class grade average (7.25). If your school issues your transcripts in English, these can be accepted. Please note that in some instances, we may also require documents issued in their original language.
Information on how to submit your transcripts and diplomas as certified copies can be found on our Supporting documents website.
You can also submit your transcripts and diplomas with an Apostille certification if your supporting documents are from Ontario. To receive apostille certification, an applicant must bring the original document to the competent authority for such certification in the respective country. You then attach your documents to the online application with the apostille certification; in that way, the University of Iceland can verify the authenticity of your documents.
Applicants from Canada (except Quebec) do not have to submit proof of English proficiency.
If you are from Quebec, you will have to provide proof of proficiency in English.
